A platform that enters a new market faster and cheaper — multi-instance for Europe

Coblit rebuilt the Cicle-X platform for consumer complaints and disputes as a multi-instance model — new European countries launched faster and cheaper.

About the project

Cicle-X

We redesigned the platform and designed a multi-instance model: a common technology and UX standard for all countries while keeping local deployments independent. The platform runs as independent instances in several European countries.

“Our goal was to create a scalable model for rolling out our complaints platform across many European markets. Coblit helped us restructure the system architecture and prepare a multi-instance model that makes it faster to launch further countries. As a result, we have significantly reduced the cost and time needed to start new system instances. We greatly value the team’s professionalism and their ability to work on large-scale, complex projects. We strongly recommend working with them.”

The outcome at a glance

  • Faster deployment in new countries
  • Lower costs of further deployments
  • Standardised processes and UX
  • Simpler maintenance and development

Project journey

From challenge to success

Problem

A project delivered for consumer protection organisations in Europe as part of an initiative co-funded by the European Commission. The previous deployment model was local: every market required a system built from scratch.

  • No consistent deployment model across countries
  • A system built from scratch for every market
  • Differences in local processes and requirements
  • No unified UX
  • Many versions that were hard to maintain

Cost of the problem

Every day without a solution meant more manual work, slower service and missed opportunities.

  • Duplicated work with every deployment
  • High costs of maintaining many systems
  • No process standardisation
  • Slower platform development

Solution

We redesigned the platform and designed a multi-instance model: a common technology and UX standard for all countries while keeping local deployments independent. The platform runs as independent instances in several European countries.

  • A common platform standard
  • Multi-instance architecture
  • Adaptation to local requirements
  • Unified UX/UI and logic
  • A repeatable deployment model

Business results

The system is no longer a one-off project — it has become a scalable product.

  • Faster deployment in new countries
  • Lower costs of further deployments
  • Standardised processes and UX
  • Simpler maintenance and development

Who it’s for

Who this kind of solution helps most

We see similar challenges in many companies. If you recognise yourself in this list, this project shows what we can do for you too.

  • Organisations operating in many markets
  • SaaS companies planning international expansion
  • Consumer organisations and ombudsmen
  • Franchises and networks with local branches
  • Projects funded by the European Commission
  • Systems adapted to local regulations

Why it works

5 reasons why this solution works

I want a similar solution
  1. The next country without building from scratch

A repeatable deployment model shortens the time and lowers the cost of entering a new market.

  2. Independent national instances

Each market runs separately, so local laws and processes don't hold back the other countries.

  3. Shared UX and logic

One standard for all countries ensures a consistent user experience and simplifies training.

  4. Changes made once

Development reaches all markets at the same time, which lowers the cost of maintaining many versions of the system.

  5. Flexibility for regulations

The analysis separated what is common from what must stay local because of the law.

How we ran the project

From analysis to ongoing development — one partner at every stage

This is how we worked together on the Cicle-X project: from understanding the processes, through wireframes and architecture, to rollout and further development.

  1. Analysis of markets and local requirements

We analysed how the platform works in each country, what is common and what must stay local because of regulations and processes.

    What you gain

A clear split: one standard for everyone and flexibility where the law requires it.

  2. UX/UI redesign

We unified the platform's interface and logic for all markets.

    What you gain

A consistent user experience in every country and simpler training.

  3. Multi-instance architecture

We designed a model in which each country has an independent instance based on a common technology standard.

    What you gain

Each new country is a repeatable deployment, not a system built from scratch.

  4. Deployments in further countries

We launched the platform as independent instances in several European countries.

    What you gain

Faster and cheaper entry into new markets.

  5. Maintenance and development

The common standard simplifies maintenance and development — we make changes once for all markets.

    What you gain

Lower costs of maintaining many versions of the system.
